Some Roku streaming devices and Samsung smart TVs won’t be able to stream Netflix from this weekend.
“We’ve notified all impacted members with more information about alternative devices we support so they can keep enjoying Netflix uninterrupted.”
Samsung said: “Consumers with these select models will see a notification from Netflix informing them of this change when they open the app on their Smart TV.
“As long as you have one of the supported devices, like a game console, streaming media player, or set-top box, you’ll still be able to watch Netflix on your TV.”
However, the statement did not clarify exactly which models.
A list of supported devices can be found at netflix.com/compatibledevices.
Seven older Roku streaming stick models won’t be supported after this month.
- HD Player,
- SD Player,
- XR Player and
- XD Player.
You are also able to use Netflix on other devices like laptops and games consoles.
The Irishman has been released on Netflix. So don’t lose any time and go ahead and watch it.
Still ranking at an incredible 8.5 out of 10 on IMDB, the Scorsese movie has truly lived up to the hype that surrounded it after it landed on Netflix this week.
If you didn’t know though – it’s a pretty heavy three hours and a half long.
If you’re sitting down with a takeaway this weekend though, a long stretch of mob warfare might be a bit much.
