Earlier today, Eminem released a surprise new album, Music To Be Murdered By, with mixed reviews.
But while some may not be too impressed by the content, others have been blown away by the sheer speed of his lyrics in one of his new tunes.
Sharing a clip from the song, one fan wrote: “This is literally insane to me. He had to have been going faster than his rap god speed.”
A second user said: “#Godzillaby @Eminem is faster than Rap God 100% & that’s crazy af.”
“Damn #Eminem really shows off in #Godzilla. Triple time. Longer and faster than in Rap God,” commented a third person.
While another added: “Eminem killed Rap God with Godzilla.”
But while he may be able to spit some mean bars really quickly, not everyone has been so impressed by Slim’s 11th album.
Some listeners are horrified by a ‘disgusting’ lyric about the bomb attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena two years ago.
The track in question is called ‘Unaccommodating’, in which Eminem raps: “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘Bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.”
Many claimed it was ‘disrespectful’ to the 22 innocent people who died at the 2017 gig.
One person tweeted the star: “You’re so disgusting I hope u know that….. what u said was very uncalled for and so hurtful to so many people.”
Another person said: “Eminem literally just made a joke about the Manchester bombing at Ariana Grande’s concert… that is just so f***ing sick, y’all better not give this man any attention. people literally lost their lives, and you’re going to release music and try to make a profit off of them?”
A third wrote: “Always had respect for Eminem but who tf makes a joke about a terrorist attack that killed innocent kids and permanently wounded others? Ariana still hasn’t healed from it either. I hope the 10 minutes of clout was worth it.”
The controversial track also addresses all that Machine Gun Kelly beef (“But when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is / I cleansed him of his mortal sins, I’m God, I’m the Lord, forgives even the devil worshippers!”).
